Good Afternoon Folks
I am going crazy trying to finish up all I need to do!!
I am celebrating Christmas with part of my family tomorrow.
My only daughter is working over the holidays so tomorrow was the only time we could all get together.
Who cares as long as we are all together!!!
Well, here are the last of my neighborhood gifts.
I did not make the boxes (ran out of time), but the tags are mine.
I kept the tags very plain because the boxes are so vibrant.
I used an Impression Obsession Snowman Stamp. Perfect because the boxes contain my "Snowman Soup Packets".
The sentiment is also from IO. I used my Marvy Punches to punch out all these items.
Stickles finish these tags off.
I am waiting (not so patiently) for them to dry so that I can hang them off these cute boxes.
I have too much to do to chat any longer.
I WISH EVERYONE PEACE, LOVE, AND JOY OVER THE NEXT FEWS DAYS!!
Life can be exasperating, I hope we can all relax and be peaceful for a few days :-)
I will be back after Christmas with my new camcorder....here come the tutorials, he he he he (she said almost "Grinchlike")
PEACE OUT!!!
Check out
for these items and more!!

Good Afternoon Folks
I hope you are all having a warm cozy day inside!!
I am catching up, slow, but sure....
here is an idea for a quick gift
I always make something special for my daughter at Christmas and this year is no exception.
These are Fridge Magnets.
The 12 Tags of Christmas from Tim Holtz encouraged me to revisit using my "Fragments"again.
Here is a close up...
I started with old dictionary paper and inked it with my Distress Inks.
I then used my Zip Dry and adhered the inked paper to the back of the Clear Fragment Pieces.
I then used Staz-On Fuchsia and inked around the edges.
I used a small swirl stamp and using Black Staz-on I stamped the swirl pattern on the top.
I added flowers and Martha Stewart Butterflies. The butterflies were punched out of more inked paper to match the dictionary paper underneath.
I finished some of these off with twine, Stickles, and Dew Drops.
Some I also added to the front of a Prima Flower.
My hubby has confided in me that I am getting a Camcorder for Christmas!!
One of my first tutorials will be this project, it is fun and very easy!!! Keep a look out after Christmas.
Do not forget to add the magnets to the back.
You can use any colors to match your own decor!!!
A little Spring for a wintery day.
Kids would love this project.
I have final grades to submit, so that is it for today.
Visit
for all the product to make these magnets.
Thank you for stopping by!!
Have a great night.
Hope to see you tomorrow

Hello!!
I am back.
I have been working...yeah gotta do that sometimes.
As part of the Fashion Design faculty at MassArt
I had to help review 120 students.
This happens at the end of each semster.
Each student had 3-4 designs to show and we had to critique each one and decide if it was competent enough to reserve a spot in our yearly fashion show.
This took three looong days. But I am on vacation now, YEAH!!
I promise to be back tomorrow with something to share!!
Check Back

Good Morning!
I have been so inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas!!!
I am not usually into the distress stuff, but I have to say that I am rather
enjoying myself.
Here are my last two...
Tim showed step by step instructions for making these awesome flowers!!
You all know how I love flowers!!
He used grunge-paper, I used card stock and Coordinations Card stock for the red/brown.
The old dictionary I have been using has worked out great for all my backgrounds.
On this background I used Distress Inks (Denim, Broken China).
I inked the edges with Tattered Rose and Lipstick Red Distress Inks.
I also inked up in Red and used a Clear Set of Flourishes from Impression Obsession for the background.
The Peace was stamped with Gold Paint.
A few embellies from my stash...man did I go through all my stuff for these tags, stuff I had forgotten about!!
My room looks like Christmas Exploded LOL!!
For this tag I used all the same stuff for the background except I added Walnut Distress Ink on the edges.
The "Joy" is made from Grunge Letters, inked with Broken China and Denim, and a bit of Gold Paint.
The stars were made by layering a metal star on top of a glittery gem star.
I added a light blue flower folded up under the paper flower I made. I could not find my leaves (they are in my room somewhere!!)
I love how the thick jute string finishes off these tags.
Making these tags brought back a lot of techniques I had forgotten about, FUN!!
All the Distress Inks, paper, stamps, and some embellishments can be found at
I have lots of grading to do for tomorrow, yuck!!
Have a great day!!
Be sure to check out Tim Holtz's Site for lots of ideas!!

Good Morning Folks
I am soooo far behind with all my Christmas Stuff!!!
I made a few more cards last night, along with my candy making, baking, shopping, no wonder I could not sleep, anyway here you go....
I found this very pretty vellum from Anna Griffin and just had to use it.
This card is 5x7 with the vellum overlay, simple.
I made one of my poinsettias. A stamp from Outlines. I stamped it twice on White Smooth Prism Paper with Blue Memento Ink. In between I added a green pre-made poinsettia (sorry I forgot the company).
Here are the Copics I used to color these flowers in. The center was made with A Kaiser Kraft Green Gem, Pearls and Ranger Lime Green Stickles.
I added Basic Grey "Opaline" peel and stick pearl embellishments.
The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. I stamped that also on Prism Smooth and lightly colored the background and edges with the same color Copics.
I finished the card off with lots of Clear Glitter.
All the product for this card (except the vellum) can be found at
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Have a Great DAY!!
I will be back tomorrow.
Yes I am home tomorrow.
Tuesday through Friday I will be in Boston for student reviews, 9a.m. to 9p.m. each day to review all 120 students in the department.
Yeah, Fun, I do really enjoy it, but it is a lot of work and time!!!

Good Morning Folks
Are you ready for the deep freeze??
Wasn't it almost 70 last week?? Gotta Love New England Weather LOL
Here is a cute frozen family for you....
It is from Impression Obsession. What a cute family :-)
The card is 5x7 and starts with Basic Grey Christmas Paper.
I then stamped the image with Brown Memento Ink on White Smooth Prism Paper.
I colored them in with my Copics.
I did not want to fuss too much with coloring in white snow so I focused on their clothing.
Here are the colors I used..
The "0000" are the palest colors you can get. Then I used the darker ones for just a little shadowing. The Gray C0 I used just around the bodies for a slight shadow effect.
I mounted the image on Sparkle Blue Paper and then a Nestabilities Square Scallop cut out of Bo Bunny Pink Dot.
The sentiment is also from Impression Obsession.
I mounted that on white card stock embossed with my Cuttlebug Snowflake folder and then more Blue Sparkle Paper and plain Blue Card Stock. I used chipboard under the card stock.
Crystal Stickles and a few Sparkle Flowers finish the card off!!
All the product for this card and more can be found at
Have a wonderful day!!
Thank you for visiting :-)
I will be back tomorrow

Good Evening Folks
I have been watching Tim Holtz create his 12 Tags of Christmas.
Check out his blog here.
He has some fantastic ideas on how to use product and get some different results.
This is not my usual style, but it is a nice change.
Here are my tags....
I started with a Kraft Paper Tag and added paper from an old dictionary.
I sanded the edges and inked them with Distress Inks.
On this one you can see I inked
the color all over the tag. I then used Versa Mark and clear inked and stamped
snowflakes. I clear embossed them and added more ink. The ink will
not stick to the embossed areas.
I added a Quickutz Lamppost, chipboard snowflakes, and the "Dec 25" is a tag from the Graphic 45 Christmas Line.
The metal pieces I dug up from my stash of stuff. They were so old they had dust on them LOL.
Frost and Lime Green Stickles, and Red Dew Drops finish the look off.
For this tag I once again started with the dictionary paper.
I sanded and inked around the edges. I stamped Holly Leaves in Green Distress Ink. This stamp is new from from Impression Obsession.
I added a Chipboard Tree from Creative Imaginations. It was white so I colored it with my Copic Green Markers.
The red paper is "Coredinations". I embossed it with a Quickutz Snowflake Folder and then sanded and crumpled it up.
I added some Walnut Distress Ink to it to pick up all the details.
The Santa Image is also from the Graphic 45 tags paper. I added a metal ring to enhance him.
"I still believe" is a stamp from Impression Obsession. I stamped it on Kraft Paper and added a metal holder.
A few sparkle flowers and twine finish this one off.
Most of the product for these tags can be found at
I hope you check out Tim's blog to view all the fun.
I had a ball reaching outside my comfort level and trying out a new style.
You may see more of this from me.... hee hee hee
Have a great night...gotta get back to Christmas Stuff...
I will be back tomorrow.

Good Morning Folks
It is a glorious day!!!
The sun is out and everything is drying up, although my sub-pump
is still going off every 5 minutes.
Here are the cards I promised....
The first is MOJO Monday
as you can see I LOVE making my Poinsettias!!
You can click on any image to enlarge it.
This is a 5x7 card. I started with Red card Stock and added
Best Creations Glitter Holly Paper on top. I added a matching card stock strip to the bottom.
The big circle is a layered piece starting with a red circle from Nestabilities, then a smaller circle in deep green, topped of with a scallop circle from the reverse side of the Holly Paper.
I love when the paper is double-sided!!!
The second circle is just by itself, Lime Green Card Stock Scallop Circle, stamped with an Impression Obsession Sentiment.
The flower, poinsettia, was made with three layers. The first and last layers are stamped images, Brown Memento Ink on Smooth Cream Prism.
The Poinsettia Stamp is from Outlines
I colored those images in with my Copics..
The center layer is a fabric flower
(I am sorry I pulled off the tag and forgot the company).
I used foam tape in between the layers. I also off set the layers (so that you can see all the petals) and curled the paper petals for a more realistic look.
The center is a large gem from Kaiser Kraft. I added Stickles (Lime Green, Aqua, Red) to the center.
I added lace, ribbon, and small flowers.
All the supplies for this card came from
Be sure to check it out!!!
Thank you for stopping by and have great day!!
I will be back later with something a bit out of the ordinary for me :-)
