Good Morning!
I feel like the craziness of the Holidays have already started??
Is it just ME??
I wanted to try something different for my neighbors this year.
Each year I send a small package of Homemade Christmas Cookies to our closest neighbors.
I wanted to change it up this year (this is our 5th year in the
neighborhood) and the list is getting very long. LOL
I recently saw a recipe for "Snowman Soup". I am sure you have all
heard of it (I must be living under a rock because I had not).
I think it is the cutest idea!!!
So I created "Snowman Soup Packets" and a gift Box to hold them.
All the supplies to make this box are at Wholly Scrap!
Except the Large Ribbon, the box directions, and the Soup. I will get to
the box instructions and the soup instructions in a bit.
Check out the rest of the box...
You can click on any image to enlarge it.
The directions for the "box" comes from Lauren Meader.
She creates wonderful boxes you can make from 81/2 x 11 card stock.
You go on-line at PTI and order the directions for only $5.00.
You then download it on your computer and print it anytime you want!!!
Here is the site...PTI
Check it out, it is well worth the trip!!!
As for the "soup" You package together:
A pack of hot chocolate, mini marshmallows, a candy cane, and a few candy kisses.
I put it all together in a plastic bag and added a paper top.
Can you tell I am so excited about these, hee hee hee
Of course I had to try it OMG mmmmmMMmmmm
As for the decorations on the box,
I used the Nestabilities Snowflake Die,Bo Bunny Paper, Red Sparkle Paper, Chipboard Snowflakes, Stamp Impression Obsession 'warm winter wishes', Velcro Dot (for closure), Red Ink, Doodlebug Green Gems, Kiwi Green Card Stock, and Stickles (lime green/waterfall).
I will be back later on show you my cookie swap stuff, I am still working on them!!!
